What is renewed before handover

Six items of work that the developer carries out and finances before the apartments are handed over.

  1. Communal stairwell

The stairwell will be fully refurbished: painting, floor coverings, lighting, handrail. It serves the building's five levels.

  2. Fire-rated entrance doors

Each of the six apartments will receive a new fire-rated entrance door, EI30 at minimum, in accordance with the AEAI fire protection regulations (VKF in German). EI30 means that the door holds back flames and smoke (E) and insulates against heat (I) for 30 minutes.

  3. Fire protection of the building

The whole building will be brought up to standard: detectors, signage, fire compartmentation, in accordance with the AEAI regulations in force. The AEAI is the Association of Cantonal Fire Insurance Institutions; its regulations apply throughout Switzerland.

  4. Complete replacement of the oil heating

The existing oil heating system will be replaced by a new installation, with new heat generation for the whole building. The chosen technology will be specified by the developer.

  5. New windows

All the building's windows will be replaced with new double-glazed PVC windows.

  6. Velux in the attic

Velux roof windows will be added in the attic of apartment A6, for the living room and dining room under the roof.
